You can collect signatures anywhere inside your proposals by adding “Signature fields” to your Proposals, or Proposal Templates.  Simply drag them out and place them on top of any proposal section to get started. Once the proposal is delivered, the recipient will be taken through a simple process to accept and sign the proposal in the areas where you’ve placed these signature fields.

*Not Seeing the draggable signature field? You may need to turn on proposal “Paging”. Only “paged” proposals have access to fillable fields. Learn about proposal paging here.

Simple & Flexible Acceptance Workflow

Once your proposal is delivered, your recipient is taken through a dead-simple signing workflow to complete the acceptance and sign the area(s) of the proposal you have specified.

How are Signature Fields useful for you?

  • You can require your client to sign in one or multiple locations to accept your proposal
  • Create almost any type of document to be signed
  • Upload your own contracts or PDFs to be signed
  • Track their IP Address, capture their signature within the document

What are the benefits of using Electronic Signatures?

  • Save Time & Close Faster: Rather than rounding up all required signers, you can send all the signatures to one place. You control who can and cannot sign the proposal thus making it easier to close deals faster

  • Less Paper: Cut down the clutter by delivering your documents electronically. No longer will you need to print, fax, scan, attach or convert your documents

  • Better Record Keeping:  Once your proposal or document is signed, our system will record the IP Address and signature on both the document and proposal Acceptance Info. You can search and preview previously signed documents

What is an Electronic Signature Anyway?

Electronic signatures are used to electronically sign a document online. These types of signatures are legally binding in most business and personal transactions in almost every country in the world. The ESIGN Act defines an “electronic signature” as an electronic sound, symbol, or process, attached to or logically associated with a contract or other record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the document. E-signing can be used to sign  sales contracts, proposals, rental/lease agreements, liability waivers, financial documents and more.
