Sometimes, it's useful for companies to have a way of importing line items into an estimate from some outside source if another system is used for generating the line items. With our Line Item Upload feature, you can manually upload a list of line items directly into an estimate by using the “Upload” button. To upload a list of line items, a correctly formatted .CSV file is required.

During the upload, you can decide whether the file you are uploading should “add to” or “replace” the current line items that already exist in the estimate.

This feature allows you to bring in line items that were produced using excel or some other quoting system and easily import them to your proposal estimate.
